Shibnathpur Yuba SanghaHealth Programme
We are working for the financially constraints and the poor households surrounding us. They are deprived of medical treatment and health care often. Absence of qualified doctors create difficulties besides cost of treatment beyond the reach of the poor people.
In this context, we have organized health check up camps at different areas for the general public specially women and children. Qualified team of Doctors in various fields have extended their services as also they aware people about common and communicable diseases.
Sishu Bikash Kendra
Education Programme is the foundation for human development. The convention on the Rights of the child states that every child has the right to develop to the maximum extent possible to achieve their full potential. Children who receive adequate care and creative opportunities for growth and development during early childhood are more likely to benefit from later education and other social services. They are also likely to be more productive and healthy citizens.
Our Education programme is for the Pre-primary and primary level with a holistic approach to child development, incorporating early learning, health and nutrition and parental education. The teachers are qualified and they are trained and have been caring the children through ‘Joy of Learning’.
Blanket distribution
As winter approaches, marginalized communities endure distress without access to warm blankets. In response, our blanket distribution initiatives aim to ease their plight. We conduct programs to provide comfort and warmth, alleviating their suffering during challenging times. Recognizing their needs, we spread compassion, ensuring they receive the support necessary to endure the harsh winter months.
Awareness Programme
Couple with lack of information, lack of awareness, as everyone knows a major problem for the people to remain undeveloped/underdeveloped. Therefore, the first and foremost task before an organization is to make the people aware regarding the present day societal context and to motivate them to counter act the adverse situation. The factors and forces regarding their development should be needs open to them so that they may take joint steps to mitigate their sufferings. In this context this year we organized various camps on Swachha Bharat Abhijan, Global Warming, Rights & Responsibilities, Reservation for Women, Environment Conservation, Education of Girl Child and Small Family.
Training Programme
We have conducted various training programmes on Tailoring, Hybrid Variety Seeds, Fishery, Pickle Making. Dry Land farming, Kitchen Garden with the help of expert trainers for the women members. The training was conducted to provide self employment opportunity to the trainees. The trainees acquired skill building and learn working with united effort for collective enterprise. They also participated in interactive training activities so that they have the skills to pass on their new knowledge to others.
Covid-19 Relief Programme
Shibnathpur Yuba Sangha distributed essentials among those deprived of basic necessities in these trying times. We have donated biscuits, dry grains, rice, wheat and fruits for the children among the underprivileged, along with Mask to the families impacted due to the lockdown. The aim is to reach those who lost their jobs in the lockdown and have no means to afford even the basic amenities.
